Dear Pine Island community,

    It is with strong emotions that I announce my resignation as Head Volleyball Coach at Pine Island High School. I am so proud of how far Pine Island Volleyball has come these past few years. There have been many joys as I have seen student-athletes grow not only in their volleyball skills, but their confidence and leadership skills as well. Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that some parents and administration failed to see my vision for this program. I am confident in the choices I have made as a head coach and proud of the progress the program has made towards competing at a higher level. All decisions have always been 100% focused on the growth of PIVB and what is best for the girls. I thank all players and PIVB staff, both past and present, as it has been my privilege to serve as your Head Coach. I also encourage all current players to remain committed to PIVB. I leave this position with tremendous appreciation for the community, parents, and players. I will forever value the many friendships made. Thank you for all the support and encouragement throughout the years.
